Registration for the 2024 Walk for Immunodeficiency is now open!

Happy Holidays from ImmUnity Canada!

December 6, 2023

We wish everyone a safe, healthy, and happy holiday and a prosperous New Year!

Please note that our offices will be closed December 22, 2023 – January 9, 2024

This holiday season, please consider giving the gift of support to patients & families in need.

The pandemic and the increase in cost of living has had a profound affect on the immunodeficiency community.

Living with a primary immunodeficiency at any age can cause major financial difficulties. Adult patients are expected to be responsible for their education, careers and financial planning while also managing their health and sometimes a family.

Many members who cannot work rely on government assistance to support themselves and their families. Some struggle to afford the high costs associated with travelling to get to appointments and receive the treatment they need. Others who struggle with their diagnosis cannot afford vital mental health support and other services they need.

This year, we received a higher number of financial requests compared to previous years. Therefore, this holiday season, we hope that you will help us raise $5,000 specifically for individuals in need of our financial assistance program. We hope that through your generous donations we will be able to help many families make ends meet across Canada.

All donations will receive a tax receipt.

We’re sick and tired, but we’re not alone.

ImmUnity Canada is a national charity with five provincial chapters across the country.

We empower Canadians impacted by immunodeficiency disorders to live well through education, support, advocacy, community-building, and research.
