International Plasma Awareness Week

September 30, 2021

October 4-8 is International Plasma Awareness Week (IPAW). IPOPI is launching an international campaign called “PID patients true stories“, dedicated to addressing the worldwide need for more regionally balanced plasma collection, aimed at reaching global sufficiency in plasma derived medicinal products. (please see the press release attached).

How?

During IPAW, IPOPI has produced five videos featuring the lives of five PID patients from different continents that illustrate patients’ need of plasma derived medicinal products and how this therapy is vital to them. CIPO is so proud that our own Safira Lachapelle is one of the five patient stories!

The videos will be shared on social media from October 4 onwards.

Feeling inspired? Join the campaign!
We invite all of you to make this campaign even better by joining in and sharing your #plasmatruestory in a short video on your social media. Don’t forget the hashtags!

Hashtags: #plasmatruestory #plasma #primaryimmunodeficiencies #IPAW2021

Let’s join together and make our voices heard for increased plasma collection!

We’re sick and tired, but we’re not alone.
