CIPO Virtual Meetups

Many have experienced the stress and challenges that can come with living with an immune disorder. CIPO provides a virtual meetup group with the hope to alleviate some of the isolation that living with a Primary Immunodeficiency might bring. This connection is especially important during these times of uncertainty with COVID-19 and is a chance to meet with and talk to others who may be experiencing a familiar reality.

The goal of a meetup group is to provide a social event, where those living with PI and their support team can get together, meet with others and share experiences while making new ones. Having meetup groups available can help patients to overcome their feelings of isolation, to have the opportunity to share similar experiences, learn current information, provide emotional support and to advocate for each other.

Meetup etiquette:
  • Attendees are not permitted to give medical advice, diagnose others, or put down doctors/medical professionals.
  • Open discussion between attendees is encouraged.
  • Talking and listening, so that attendees have equal opportunity to share.
  • Most importantly, have fun.

Join us every other Wednesday, 8pm-9:30pm EDT (5pm-6:30pm PDT) https://www.gotomeet.me/cipowhitney/wednesday-night-pi-meetup
