ImmUnity Canada has been in touch with SCID Angels; an organization based in the USA that welcomes Canadian families to join their monthly “Connect in the Cloud” support groups.
The support group is facilitated by Peer Counselor Morgan McNaughton who is a SCID parent herself. She will lead participants to address issues that are often hard for SCIF families to voice. It is a great way to share your frustrations or break the gloom of living in isolation. New and veteran families are welcome to meet to share ideas and spread hope.
The event is free to join. Participants must have a confirmed diagnosis of SCID. You must register in advance through Eventbrite.
