Paola, ImmUnity Canada member and author of “In My Magical Bubble” will be attending our conference and will have a stall selling copies of her book, inspired by her son Jakob, who is an ADA SCID toddler, also known as “Bubble Boy.” Jakob was born in August 2019. with no immune system to fight infections or colds and was diagnosed 10 days after he was born.
The book is all about Jakob and his loyal buddy Buvo as they stretch their imaginations on a dirty Friday. Follow them on their adventures, which are beautifully illustrated, where monkeys sing fruit songs, and the ocean holds surprises.
Andrea has kindly said that she will donate 20% of profits from book sales to ImmUnity Canada so throughout the month of April during PI Awareness week will be promoting her book.
