As part of our awareness-raising campaign called Invisible No More, we are requesting that members from across Canada help us to ensure that municipalities across the country proclaim World Primary Immunodeficiency Awareness Week April 22nd – 29th 2023. This will help let our supporters as well as the general public know more about the world of primary immunodeficiencies.

Please message the Programs Manager David Josey (david@immunitycanada.org) who will provide you with all the information you will need and support the application process if you are interested in participating. We are already working with mayors from St. Johns, Victoria and Vancouver.

During World Primary Immunodeficiency Week, we hope that many mayors will recognize the importance of being Invisible No More. We are also hoping for some local and national media coverage of our Walk for Immunodeficiency happening in Ottawa Saturday, April 15th, 2023.

We estimate that it takes a mayor about 2 – 3 weeks to make the proclamation happen, so if you can get in touch with us over the next few days we can support you to make this happen.
