Panelist Information
Dr. Luis Murguia Favela
Dr. Favela is a Clinical Associate Professor at Alberta Children’s Hospital and the University of Calgary, specializing in Pediatric Immunology and Allergy. He is also a founding member and site principal investigator of the Clinical Immunology Network-Canada (CINC), a cross-Canada group of Clinical Immunologists with the objective of generating and collaborating on clinical research and advocacy projects in the field of Immunology.
Dr. Vy Kim
Dr. Vy Kim is a clinical immunologist/allergist at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, assistant professor and director of postgraduate medical education for Pediatric Clinical Immunology & Allergy at the University of Toronto, section chair for immunology at the Canadian Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and chair of the SCID Disease Specific Working Group for Newborn Screen Ontario. Her areas of focus include inborn errors of immunity, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and gene therapy for inborn errors of immunity and medical education.
