Tell us about yourself!
I’m a creative person who loves bringing ideas to life, whether that’s through design, illustration, storytelling, or creating content that connects with people. I have a background in Visual Arts from The University of Victoria, and over the past few years I’ve had the chance to work on everything from designing reports and social media graphics to maintaining websites, creating infographics, and illustrating children’s books.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me drawing, reading, baking, planning my next trip, learning languages, or hunting for cute cafés and bookstores. I love expressing myself creatively and bringing a bit of curiosity and positivity into everything I do. I’m excited by opportunities where I can keep learning, collaborate with great people, and create work that has a real impact.
When did you start working at ImmUnity Canada?
I started working at ImmUnity Canada on June 15th, 2026.
What motivated you to join ImmUnity Canada?
I was motivated to join ImmUnity Canada because I wanted to use my creative and communication skills to contribute to work that has a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Being able to contribute to an organization that promotes public health through education and supports patients across Canada in meaningful ways allows me to combine my passion for creativity, communication, and social impact.
Tell us a little about your role/what you’ll be working on in your time here
As the Marketing Coordinator at ImmUnity Canada, I design and produce professional reports, specifically the 2025 annual report, maintain and update the organization’s website, and edit content for social media platforms to support public health communication and outreach.
What do you enjoy most about working at ImmUnity Canada?
I enjoy working with an organization that supports patients across Canada, which gives my design/creative work purpose and meaning. I also enjoy the supportive environment I work in, and the learning opportunities I am constantly provided.
What is your greatest accomplishment & how did you go about achieving it?
My greatest achievement has been finding a way to combine my creativity with my values. As a Visual Arts graduate, I have built a path where my skills in illustration, design, and storytelling are not only creative outlets but also tools for advocacy, education, and community impact. Being able to contribute to projects that amplify voices, share important information, and support meaningful causes is something I am incredibly proud of.
What have you learned about yourself from working at ImmUnity Canada?
The biggest thing I learned about myself is rediscovering that I still have my passion for health and science, all while finding a way to connect it with my creativity. During high school in Lebanon, I studied in the Life Sciences section, where I developed a strong interest in health, biology, and understanding the human body. Although my academic path later led me toward visual arts and design, I have been able to reconnect with that passion through my work ImmUnity Canada.
How has working here had an impact on you?
Working at ImmUnity Canada has allowed me to reconnect with my early passion for health and science while applying my creative skills in a meaningful way. It has shown me the important role that communication and design play in making health information more accessible for patients and communities.
This experience has helped me grow both professionally and personally by allowing me to work at the intersection of creativity, education, and public health.I feel grateful to contribute to an organization that supports patients and promotes better health outcomes across Canada, and I know that I will learn more and more along the way.

I would encourage someone to join ImmUnity Canada because it is an organization where your work has a meaningful purpose and a direct impact on people’s lives. Being part of a team that supports patients, promotes health education, and improves access to reliable information is incredibly rewarding.
What is one of your hidden talents that not many people know about?
One of my hidden talents is that I’m a bit of a home barista and a passionate cook and baker. I love experimenting in the kitchen, trying new recipes, and creating little moments of joy through food and drinks. Whether it’s making a beautifully crafted coffee/matcha, baking something from scratch, or preparing a meal for the people around me, I enjoy the creativity and care that goes into it, and it has become another way for me to express myself outside of art and design.
