Summer Student, Marketing Coordinator
Term: 8 weeks, Full time (35h/week)
Salary: $20/ hour
Location: Victoria, BC (Hybrid)
Purpose: To digitize organizational records, design and create 2025 Annual Report, assist with social media and other in-house design and marketing work (video editing in particular)
ImmUnity Canada is looking for eco-aware summer student/youth placement, interested in helping our charity become paperless as well as work with our marketing design and needs. This post will be responsible for digitizing our files and records, while maintaining an accurate electronic filing and recording data management system. This position will work alongside our Executive Director and Marketing Specialist to help with the creation and design of our organizational annual report as well as create and oversee some of our social media campaigns.
We are a national charity providing support, education and advocacy to patients and families whose lives are affected by Primary Immunodeficiency disease (PI). Primary Immunodeficiency disease is a genetic group of over 500 rare blood diseases that cause the immune system to be defective.
Requirements:
- Aged 15-30
- Be able to take direction
- Work on your own
- Excellent organizational skills
- Be able to take initiative
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of digital organization systems
- Experience with graphic design (Canva)
- Experience with video editing (short form and long form)
