Transcript

Zeynep: Hi, my name is Zeynep.

I am an immunology patient. I go to the hospital once a month.

I was always sick when I was a baby. I had three ear surgeries. I felt scared and different.

My mom wrote a book about me: Power, Power, Superpower.

I have a cute seven and a half year old brother. He loves sushi and Lego. Here he is now.

Efe: Hi, my name is Efe and I feel scared when she gets needles. But when she gets home and I see her, I feel better.

We both go to gymnastics and she’s the best thing I could ever ask for. We are both lucky to have each other.

Thanks to doctors and nurses, she’s not sick anymore.

Zeynep: Thanks to the lovely They took care of me very good. Thanks, and thanks to them, now I can do swimming, skating, gymnastics, basketball, and karate.

I met with the mayor. I will meet the new one.

Thanks to my family and doctors and nurses I’m healthy again, and I am an energetic jitterbug. Now me and my brother can have endless and oodles of fun, right?

Efe: Yeah.

Zeynep: Thanks for listening, bye!

We’re sick and tired, but we’re not alone.
