Quebec has joined the other provinces and territories by adding SCID to its list of conditions screened at birth.
Starting in the spring 2023, all babies born in Quebec will be screened for this life threatening primary immunodeficiency. Newfoundland is now the only province in Canada to not be screening for SCID.
