CIPO is thrilled to announce the launch of the first International Neonatal Screening Day (INSD) on June 28th. IPOPI (the International Patient Organization for Primary Immunodeficiency) has been working in partnership with the International Society for Neonatal Screening (ISNS) and the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID), under the Screen4Rare initiative to bring about this special day.
To mark International Neonatal Screening Day, CIPO asks that we come together in Canada to collaborate and discuss with those provinces and territories not yet offering SCID Newborn Screening, as to how we can achieve this goal for the patients and families.
